  • My test drive

    I went to a dealership today to test drive a 2001 Trans Am. OMG the car was goergous being black with black leather and tinted windows...all power, 6-spd with t-tops. took it out goin threw the gears is such a differnce between my v6 and that LS1...lets just say tomorrow i might b a new owner of a T/A when i get the phone call to c if im approved or not

      cool..... I love V8's, but I still love my sixer!

        from all the ls1s ive driven, im still not impressed with the low end power they have. dont get me wrong though, im planning on buying a ls1 to go along with the T/a but the low end just doesnt seem very strong at all compared to the lt1. but god**** they pull nicely up top!

        current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it

          Congrats, you found my future car. You can drop it off on my driveway within the next few days, so I can have it for my graduation party.

            So true, at first your like WTF? then all of a sudden, you realized your pinned back in your seat and your flying like 6 bats outta hell. Its not like the low-end is weak though, it just seems weak due to the monster topend.

              yeah its just a different feeling between the two motors.

              lt1s low end= feels like youre getting punched in the face

                LT1 feels as if it uses magnetic purpulsion to make your *** explode of the line. Thats why they can cut 1.6s stock (with a good driver :tup: )
