Man I had court today what a drag it is seriously the most nerve racking thing I can imagine. The worst part was the cop just kept on lying and it was driving me nuts. Here is how he lied
1 he said I squealed my tires in 1ST 2ND and 3RD gear witch in my case is just about impossible I have a 3.4 v6 with 3.08 gears.
2 he said I told him I was speeding
    3. He said he pulled me over on one street that was posted 25 mph when we were actually 2 blocks down from that were it is posted 40.

I am glad I went out and took pictures the other day showing all the truths and all the lies about my case.
Now only time will tell if I am guilty or innocent in Arizona the send it to you in the mail. How retarded is that???
Has any one else been In court how did you feel, what happened, guilty or not????/

i have court on Aug. 25th for getting busted at senior week. spent the night in jail for some BS False charges. my lawyer is working on it now and he says everything should drop because the cops there are really corrupt anyway and the false charges should get things dropped for me. hopefully. im keeping my fingers crossed

yup, court sucks. been there, done that. more times than id like to have been.

ps-never plead "guilty" even if you are, plead "no contest" thats what i did every time even though i was guilty as sin. "no contest" looks better than "guilty" on your record.

Ha! Don't worry those ******* cops get theirs eventually.

Its sucks how a few bad cops ruin the image. I have a friend who's a paramedic, and he told me a story of one particular call where he was treating a woman who had been beaten senseless by her husband. The woman ended up being ok (although a little bruised and mentally disturbed), but later on he got a call from the SJPD. Apparently the woman was the wife of one of the captains in the force, and get this SJPD wanted my friend to lie and report the incident as an "anxiety attack" instead of assault. Needless to say my friend told them to get stuffed.

            Re: court today ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

A few months ago I left 10 minutes early for work at 6:45am. a freakin cop pulls me over and says I was doing 53 mph in a 35 zone. he was walking up to my truck so I flicked my cig out the window and he said, "why are you littering" i said WTF excuse me...he said you just littered I said sorry. he said "ya know we pay to have these roads cleaned up" WTF man its the interstate! anyway he said he pulled me over for speeding...yet I know I'm already for sure getting a ticket just over the cig flick. He takes my info, yet we go round and round about why I have ky tags and licence, and I am in PA. He goes to his cruiser for about 10 minutes. He comes back and says he's going to cut me a break...ok he's still giveing me a ticket..., he must have used vascar or traffic tracker of some sort. on the bottom of the ticket he wrote measured 200 FT, and he wrote the ticket up as "Obedience to obey traffic device." then on notes he wrote M.C in bed of Pickup..
Mean while my boss rolls by me while I'm pulled over WTF!!

On lunch that day I checked this out. from the stop sign where I pull out it was one tenth of a mile to where he was sitting and "clocked me" from that point it was one tenth of a mile to the sharp curved on-ramp of the interstate. I can safely take this curve tops at 30 mph with the bike in the truck! I'm takeing this to court. two tenth's of a mile total here!
            __________________________________________________ ____________
The cop said he measured 200 ft at 2.54 seconds and my speed was 53? he said what was he REACTION time when I crossed that line...he said he can do this senario 10 times and get different calculations. he's right about this. also he said make up some BS where he wrote in the notes section MC in bed of pickup. ..the cop screwed himself...i can make up some BS that I had tie down straps that are rated for lets say 350 lbs, if I took that turn at 53? or faster that would throw the weight G's wise to tripple/quadruple the weight so my bike would have been laying out in the street some where. ahhh this will work. LOL

I checked safely with the bike in the bed of the truck I can take the turn at 30 mph, and with out the bike in the truck I can safely take the turn about 32 to 35 mph.
            __________________________________________________ _________
well here is what calcs I got, which could still get me in trouble...:
            200 ft in 2.54 seconds = 78.740157 ft per second = 53.7 mph

            + 0.25 second reaction delay = 48.9 MPH
+ 0.5 second reaction delay = 44.9 MPH ( this is a pretty big reaction time)

also the last time the cops equipment was tested was 6-02-05 (this is over a month later)

I believe I was doing over 35 mph, maybe around 40 something but not 53.

Well I just got my @ss handed to me in court! I had the male version of Judge Judy!!! I walked into the court room and the first thing the judge asked me is do you want me to change this to speeding? I told him no because I am pleading not guilty. He said ok we are giving you a break here with no points...but it's your decision, now its speeding with points on your licence. I was like WTF don't I get to explain. He said I am finding you guilty no matter what. Now it's too late he already changed it to speeding. He didn't care anything I had to say.

The calibration for the traffic tracker only has to be checked ever 60 days in the state of PA. This judge was really an A-HOLE and didn't care about any specs on anything I had. It was my word against the cop.

In result he found me guilty and told me again...I tried to give you a break here and you wouldn't listen and now you have points on your license and a bigger fine. I said a bigger fine! He said yes we are figureing what that is now. Then he said do you have the money, I said no, then he said well if you don't have the money right now I am putting you in jail. My eyes got really big and thinking WTF !!!

He asked me one more time if I would like the original offense of failure to obey traffic device (speed limit sign) and I said well it's better then a speeding citation! So I took it for what it was.

The judge said he didn't want to break me, and make it harder on me financially, and he said you made an honest mistake. I was dismissed out of the room. Once I got out to the truck I was pissed off...so that's that.

                  Re: court today ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I dont know about you guys, but where I live (a town of 2500 in Alberta) the cops are AWSOME (there is one or two out of 6 that can be ****s, but hey, they dont stretch the truth, they just ticket you for what you disobeyed the law as).

I personally have been pulled over 6 or 7 times, most speeding. 3 or 4 of these times with one cop, (who is now my neighbor) and I have not recieved ONE ticket from him. The only ticket that I have recieved is a "Failing to remain on the designated roadway" ticket, (I was mudding in town, and got stuck) He could have nailed me with about $800 worth of tickets, and cut my lisence up on the spot, but he didnt, and let me off with a $115 ticket.

These guys are awsome cops, and are known to let most people off with warnings, they are always in the community, and a couple are actually active in sports and other crap around the community.

I dont know if this is just something about the small town, but these guys have hard jobs, sure, its not the right thing to take it out on is, but they do what they have to do.

I think for every ticket someone SHOULDNT have recieved, there are probly at least 15 other people getting tickets they do deserve.

I deserved a ticket for all the warnings I ever recieved, but the cops gave me a break, each time.

man, I dont know what Im going to do when I move to a larger city then, perhaps buy a mini van? or a small compact?

                      Yeah... Right, lol

by the way, of speaking of buying a new car, the camaro concept is making me drule. If I dont have a woman, and if I can actually pay off my education, and live in a shizzy house, You bet Ill get the 6 figure loan to get one. At least I can dream about it in my shizzy house, and at work paying off my student loans.
