To be honest I had absolutely NO intrest in watching a bunch of people on their bicycles race for a shirt... yet i'm now strangely drawn to it. My dad was watching it on tv, and he started explaining how it all worked, and i was facinated :eek: . I had no idea it was all about strategy and that there were so many mini races and such involved. Wierd... but its actually pretty dang cool... and naturally the coolest thing about it is the peloton. Its like nascar on bikes! That and i can't stop saying it... peloton... pel o ton... say it, you'll like it :)


Ha, oh yea, and my dad said

Nothing is faster than the peloton!

Which sounds like a cool tag line for a super villain or something... kinda like how the juggernaut always used to say

nothing stops the juggernaut!

But i'm the Peloton biotch! :D

i always had my suspiscions(i know that spelling is way off) about you, but i knew it. you like watching men in tight tight shirts and tight tight short shorts ride bicycles!!

I'm totally into it. The strategy, especially for the overall win, is very complicated and wonderful.

My favorite is the time Lance looked like he was having a bad day. From the start his face looked bad, and he was just about weaving. So Jan Ulrich (Lance's chief rival) and his team rode up front and pushed the pace way up, to break Lance. But somehow Lance and his team just barely managed to keep up. Mind you, it's not all that hard when you're drafting at the back of the peloton, not setting the pace up front. Then, at the bottom of the last mountain, with the finish on top, Lance is at the front. Huh??? He rides past Ulrich and turns his head and gives him what is now known as "the look". The look said "Gotcha, sucker. Got anything left?" Then Lance stomps on the pedals and shoots up the hill. Beat Ulrich by maybe two minutes. Crushes him psychologically. End of that Tour.

Off the bike, they're good friends. Makes it even better.
