So I've mentioned it a few times to my friends and family that for my 19th bday I wanted to go skydiving. I don't know if they thought I was serious about it but I definitely am :naughty:

So today is my bday and my parents decided it would be my gift from them and I'm trying to get a few friends to come along too.

We'll probably end up doing it in a couple of weeks, because my friends don't have the cash on hand for it yet. But I can't wait. Going to be better than any rollercoaster

What's the coolest present you've had?

Yea actually it did. My sister also got this gay little steering wheel cover for it (you know the black fuzzy one with flames on it), but i threw that **** out before i drove it anywhere.... in fact the steering wheel cover looked like a girls thong sitting in the back seat.

Lol thanks man, I'm sure there will be some hesitation at the door looking out of the plane but I can't wait to do it. Hopefully I won't need a change of pants afterwards, I think I'll be ok though

My coolest present... A Helicopter flying lesson. It was just a one day thing but was fun as hell. No classroom stuff, just jump in, grab the controls and go. :)

That's almost as bad as when I had to use my sisters Camaro for the day, and it had a giant "Princess" sticker across the back window. I sat really low in the drivers seat that day...

P.S. - I've always wanted to sky dive, but have been too cheap to front the money!

Coolest present? A giant craftsmen toolset (who knows how many pieces? 200+ maybe. like I counted).

The presentation was awesome. This was before we were married. My wife was asking me if I would be pissed if she proposed to me. Being a traditionalist, I said I preferred to ask her when I was ready. We went out to dinner on our anniversary and she handed me a ring box. I was crapping in my pants (I wasn't ready for marriage at the time.) I opened the box and inside was a socket. Damn she got me a good one. I still own and use the tools every weekend.

you'll love it, Ive been 2 times already....but since its your first time, GET THE VIDEOTAPE!!! trust me it's worth it...my friends got the tape the second time they went but it wasnt as funny because we knew what to expect.....the first time though...oh boy, and dont get too frightened when they start screweing with you...trust me they will...and depending on what size plane you get, tandem jumpers usually go out last so you get to see the 10 people infront of you jump....it is the wierdest feeling when the plane suddenly looses 1000+ lbs and your not expecting it

coolest present Ive gotten was my boat lift...maybee not cool but extremly useful.....hope your back feels better, because there is nothing more exciting that the first time you jump out of that plane....trust me its a rush...oh ya wear pants it gets cold ;)

i remember my 19th birthday present and it was a tantom skydive also. and ill tell you what it is the most fun i ever had and still tryin to this day to get lessons to be an instructor. yes get the video i didnt but wish i had. it is the coolest feeling in the world when you jump out and almost immediatly hit 100 mph. dont know what you will jump out of but i jumped out a ***** air and at 14500 feet we jumped, i swear everything looked the same size until we got to around 3000 feet. if you can ask the instructor to open at like 6000 feet. it is a great feeling to just flot there and hear nothing ad be able to see the whole world, that what it felt like. either way have fun. oh and by the way the opening isnt as bad as it looks it is actually kinda gentle.
