    just bought a dell gaming notebook (not XPS)

    ok so Dell was having this 35% deal and I talked my parents into buying me one so I can take it to Kosovo. or somethign like that :naughty:

    DAMN! nice dude. thats a killer price. dell also has a refurbish center thats kinda hidden in their webpage but if you google it it shows up. you can get killer desktops and laptops for like 40% off. only thing is that you cant customize them at all. but hell, for 40% off a 5k computer... i'd take it. just an fyi... congrats tho dude.

      congrats, i personally have had NOTHING but bad experiences from dell, yes, more than one, with friends, me, family, i dont really think i know anybody personally that is happy with their dell, their tech support was crap, i just gave up on trying to get them to fix it, threw it away and built my own computer, i would never ever buy a dell again, their laptops are better than their desktops from personal experience though

        I agree with bah, this is my first dell laptop and will be my last. I have an inspiron 9100 (xps wannabe). I've have had some issues with this laptop and their tech support is horrible (I'm not just talkin about the accents you need to weed through either) so I had to learn to fix my own problems. I'll be definitly looking else where when I go to upgrade.

          as far as hardcore gaming computers go, I've heard that ALienware is the way to go, I mean im sure its expensive as hell, but from what i remember of them they were sick looking.

              I would have loved to have been able to get an alienware, but I only had a $1500 budget
