  • I'm having problem driving my Fiero

Every time I drive it around and the engine has warmed up the idling goes crazy on me. It sometimes makes my engine wanna stall. What else do I need to do? The IAC, TPS, EGR, oxygen sensor has been done. What else is there?

I've checked and posted at Pennock Forum and it seems like a lot of people have this same problem. But funny thing is nobody has a sure fire solution. See that's why I like this board better.

As some of you remember, I bought a decent used Fiero that needs a lot of work. Well I need now is to fix this and the low oil pressure and the car is good to go.

No I never want to touch that, my '89 is still having issues with that. Besides the RPM is find. It's only when the car is warmed up like if I've been driving it for 20mins. does it do this.

vacuum leaks? i dunno, check that EGR again. it would make alotta sense. ya figure the engine heats up, the EGR kicks in and then the pintles get stuck... pcv maybe?

The pcv valve is a possibility. I would also check all the connections around the throttle body. Does the check engine light come on? If it does, most auto part store will check it with a hand held computor for free!

Now this isn't a helpful post, but is it really wise to use the word fire around a Fiero?
