This is going to be pretty long but I think it might be one of the dumbest things anyone ever did with a car.
First let me tell you about the car....my stepfather used to repo cars and sometimes he would have voluntary repos and would get the keys and let me drive them until he brought them in (I loved it I have probably drove 50 or 60 diffrent cars) so one night I had a 99 ford taurus repo at the time it was only a year old.
Alright heres the story.
When I was 18 or 19 I was at a party drinking jin and we figured we would see who could take the most shots I got up to 18 and thought I was ok to drive LoL (Stupid). I got a page from a girl and needed to go to a pay phone to call her back so I was driving and blacked out and hit a dodge ram from behind (really stupid) and I guess you can say woke up being that it was a repo car and I didnt want to get my stepfather fired I decided to hit and run (and this is where things got retarded) I sped off and they were following me but couldnt keep up so I turned inot a neighborhood and was going around a turn at about 80mph and hit a speed bump and my tire blew out and I flipped on my side and slid into the woods about 35 or 40 feet breaking through small trees until I hit a big one and stopped. They caught up and the cops came and heres the crazy part.... they just gave me a few tickets and sent me on my way and I was so drunk I could barley talk right. I had to call my stepfather and tell him I was in a accident and I forgot to tell him it was totaled so he was thinking it was a little fender bender until he came around the corner and saw headlights turned sideways in the trees. I then told him that before he took me home that I needed to go by the house I was at and get some stuff I left when he took me back I went inside and never came back out and partied for the rest of the night (He was pissed to say the least) In all he lost his job the company got sued all I had was a few scratches bumps and bruises and a few tickets. To say the least it was a really mest up night but actually could have been worse. I wish I still had pics of the car....the side where it slid looked like it was pealed back like a banana and the rims were turned sideways like the car on back to the future LoL.
One other dumb/funny thing I did was in my first camaro I replaced my headlight bulbs and was on I95 on my way to Flordia at night and there were cars all around me honking and flashing lights for about 15 to 20 miles and I couldnt figure out for the life of me why it actually started pissing me off. So I drove for a while and ended up being away from all the other cars and it started to get harder to see where I was going so I pulled over and I looked at my lights and I had all my headlamp bulbs lighting up my engine and not in my headlight housing LoL I felt pretty stupid.
