Southern Calif. went 22 straight days with tripple digit numbers. Now it's cooling off and we're in the high to mid 90*.

In my area it got to be as hot as 112*. I literally took my SC off and started running NA. With almost 2 hours on the FWY I can't believe that my left arm has major sun burn. Black car and extreme heat ='s not good. It reaps havok on your car's paint too.

Then I started thinking about the the northern east coast where temp. drops below 0*. I guess I shouldn't be complaining about the heat.

I guess I would rather be too hot than too cold. Can't really do much anything if you're too cold.

I hate it when it's bone chilling cold. Yeah, you can put on a lot of layers, but then you can't move and you're all uncomfortable and stuff. Your nose hairs freeze and your teeth chatter. ugh, I flipping hate that.

We don't get much over 100, but 100 does not bother me. A cold glass of water and your good to go. The high humity we get kind of sucks, but I'll take that over bone-chilling cold any day.

All cars have heaters =)

All public places have heat. Like babershops, machine shops, etc...
Not all places have A/C.

A/C relies on electric, while heat can rely on anything.

I'd take frostbite over dying of a heat stroke anyday.

Plus there are like 32424 differnt kind of hot, humid hot, swamp hot, dry hot, wet hot. While there is only 1 cold.

Plus you get snow days =)

I never got off of work cause of hot-days.

I'll take the heat. Everybody I know is amazed at how well I can take the heat and humidity. Two of us just moved/spread an entire dumptruck load of dirt in the yard. We only used a wheel barrel and two shovels. My father was always getting a drink, and sweating buckets. I was barely sweating and probably drank one glass of water for his three.

That, and how many times has any guy seen a girl walk by with two pairs of pants on, thick winter boots, a humungous jacket and hood, while having a scarf wrapped around her face, and said "Damn! I gotsta' get me some of that!"?

I said too cold. I can take the cold, i can actually be active in the cold. The heat, well St. Louis heat for this matter, is almost unbearable. I can't take the St. Louis heat of high 90s and humidity from hell, you can barely ****ing breath let alone live.

yeh exactly. plus if its humid ur sweat wont transfer ne heat to the air, so now ur just hot and sticky.

i second that about the "plus sized" :D girls. i dont need to see girls half naked every second do i?....:slap: scratch that part lol

dry hot, or humid hot? WHen I was in Minot ND it actually got humid out in the summer, and Abilene TX was a dry heat.

I'd rather be hot. Well, I am hot, but I mean temperature wise ;).

When its cold, my toes freeze, my nose turns red, and I HATE shivering.

I went ahead & voted too cold. If your cold & have to be outside, put on warmer clothing. If your hot & have to be outside, there's only a limited number of things you cain do to cool off.
