    nits
    stock suspension sucks
    1LE suspension is rock hard (don't think it handles any better either)
    stock chassis flexes way too much
    interior peices that break for no reason
    passenger side headlight that doesn't stay put (does this flicker bounce thing when going down the road)
    interior peices that break for no reason
    worn out driver cloth seat
    PITA to change the plugs
    interior peices that break for no reason
    weak *** tranny
    2 words LIVE AXLE
    even after alignment still eats front tires
    interior peices that break for no reason

    picks
    even though it's a 98 design still one of the best looking cars on the road
    t-tops
    5-speed so no complexities of an automatic
    stiff *** suspension NEVER bottoms out
    good highway milege
    relatively comfortable for long drives

          yes, it has a horrible resale value
          What are you gonna drop an LS1 in?
          you should just keep the f-body and drop an LS1 in

                  Nits:
                  As mentioned, the passenger-side hump in the floor.
                  Needs more torque.
                  This 4L60E doesn't shift at the right RPMs compared to my other car's.
                  Headlights could have been brighter from the factory
                  Engine too hard to work on
                  Electronics and parts integration too tied together for easy changes.

                  Picks:
                  Camaro.
                  Red
                  Second nicest body style of all the generations, IMHO
                  I prefer the nose of the '93-97s.
                  People still say, "that's just a V6?"
                  I like the seats for comfort
                  A good balance of styling between aggressiveness and elegance

                    nits
                    * stupid bump on the passanger side (gm engineers!)
                    * Weak Transmission.
                    * Not so great handling.
                    * Tiny trunk-space.
                    * No fuel door lock.
                    * Crampy back-seat (considering the exterior dimensions!)
                    * Spark plug location (da*n gm engineers again)
                    * Real Pain-in-the-A$$ to drive in the rain.
                    Picks
                    + It's a camaro! Turns a lot of head.
                    + A/C is way too cold!
                    + Reliable 3800 engine.
                    + Did i said that it looks bada$$!
                    + Racecar type feeling inside with the low seats (i hate high seats!)
                    + Ricers keep a good distance.( cuz they know messing with a camaro
                    with like asking for a as* whoopin')
                    + Comfortable seats (atleast comfortable than my dads accord)
                    + Most aftermarket exhaust sounds like bada$$ Muscle! (not like fart cans of those civics or eclipse)
                    + Good crash ratings .
                    + Excellent gas mileage comparing to the HP and torque output .

                    Thats probably it ...btw those nits and picks are for a 98+ f-body.....

                      Oah well when it comes to recommendations I dunno, my stock suspension the car felt like a bowl of jello it was so wobbly so I bought bilstein shocks and some 1LE springs off a guy and 32/21 sways from SLP along with some 1LE LCA's for the rear, that sent the car too far in the stiff direction and I think raising the center of gravity has hurt my handling.

                      I am guessing I should have gone with some sort of mild lowering springs but my car sat too low on the stock ones so I was afraid of going lower (I think the stock springs were bad)

                      anyway as far as recommendations there are others here who could proably give better ideas than me.

                        I will drop in an LS1 someday. I am keeping the car.
                        There is no way I am daily driving an LS1 swapped car that is modified. No thanks. Thats why I am buying a better car. I want something that handles better, so I currently have my eye on the 2002+ C5 Z06s.

                            Does the car have some drawbacks? absolutely- but, we all knew what we were getting into when we bought our camaros. I'm a firm believer (and my ex girlfriend would disagree.... this is why she is now an EX) that you should buy a car to ENJOY it, especially when you are young. If you can't have some fun driving your car around and showing it off, then driving automatically becomes dull and boring. Our cars are designed for fun- they might be slow, but heck- these babies can stand up to some pretty fast speeds when you floor them- and even better yet, when you put some chrome on these guys, they get some MAJOR looks.

                            The car had some tremendous lines to it- IMHO it is one of the prettiest cars ever made, period. That's why I bought mine. So, after the rant, onto the nits and pics

                            Nits
                            - she isn't that fast
                            - she rattles a bit

                            Picks
                            -she gets some LOOOOOOKS :-P
                            ^----- that sums it up right there

                            This car is amazingly fun to drive and its an american classic. What's NOT to love?!?!?!?????
