When i saw that commercial, I instantly thought how easy it would be to break into a car with one since it uses a seal that could be pulled off and then you could either push the window down or use a hanger to push the buttons on the inside. I never gave it much thought after that.

on the newer f-bodys (like mines a 2002) you cant just stick a stick down the crack in the window and press the electronic unlock button.
It wont let you unlock it that way. If you use the key FOB to lock the door, and you open the door without disarming the alarm, then the alarm will go off.
(Just hitting the electronic lock button on the door wont arm the system)
I know, I've had to break into my car twice.
2k2 camaro, K&N, SLP whisper lid, Konis, AEM, HP Tuners, Angel eyes/Halos, CF SS ram air hood, 4.10s, Zexel Torsen, UMI SFCs, CrossFire, BFGs, Gatorback, Catco, Flows, and TLC! DONT feed the Trolls!
just cause the alarm went off doesn't stop anyone unless its in your driveway and your home. if a car jacker gets in your car, alarm or not, your without a car. It doesnt take long for them to disarm it, work on your igntion and theft system, and take off.
