Has anyone else been impressed lately with the wealth of decent looking cars saturn is putting out now. The sky and aura are both gorgeous for saturns and the ion doesn't even look that bad. If this continues and they get a decent v8 under a saturn hood they might actually gain a following. Saturn may not have the soul of chevy or pontiac but their cars and prices are right in my book. BTW first look at a sky on the road today, green with a tan top, ugly combo but still a hot car. From far away coming at you it looks like an opel speedster, it was the lady's down the street so I guess I will see a lot more of it.

Re: GM has their minds in space
i like the sky soooo much better than the solstice. but both cars are absolutely phenominal. GM actually wanted to get rid of saturn altogether. with the union contracts and w/e they'd lose more money on the deal than the lack of profit saturn has turned every year for so long. my uncle is an engineer for toyota. he told me (how true it is i dunno) that toyota doesnt even benchmark saturns anymore cuz they're so shoddily made. i think that GM just needs to be more innovative. the new camaro is a step in the right direction btw... it IS getting made. i got another uncle who works at GM Powertrain and tho they havent announced it, they're working on the designs already. predicted release: fall of '08, model year '09. anyways, i just hope they try taking things in new directions. it seems that they just follow everyone else. i think it was Toyota that had the power rear window for the Tundra. now all the car companies do it. then they had a hidden storage compartment in the truck bed. now the '07 camry is gonna have some sort of antibacterial/antidust filter to it. i think GM just needs to open up and get more ideas rather than keep following in everyone else's footsteps. they're slowly but surely moving in the right direction. that displacement on demand was one of the coolest things ever. props to them for that idea!2000 3.8L Camaro A4 Pewter Y87<br />K&N Filter, SLP Ram Air kit, Eibach Pro Kit, Flowmaster 80 series, Silverstars, NGK plugs and MSD Super Conductor Wires, Electric Water Pump
