    The Z06 is cheaper, LIGHTER by 300 LBS, Pulls slightly higher G's on the skidpad, outbrakes and out accelerates the GT in the 1/4 mile.

    The GT goes 7 MPH faster for a top speed. Wow!

    The GT is bought for its class, style and history for the most part. It is well known that its not the best sports car ever. I still like it though.

    Its a pulley change away from some big power too.

      Actually the GT40 only won two years on the trot: 1968 and 69, and its predessor the Mk. II (i think.. coulda been the Mk. III) won in '66 and '67. It was Ferrari that won between 1960 and 65. But thats ok, its an easy mistake to make :p

              You mean the one that has been in development for like 3 years now and supposedly burst into flames on a test track?

              By the time they are ready to release it they will have to redesign it for the C7.

                Well I read in MotorTrend, that it is on its way to production.

                              Both cars have pros and cons..and yeah, I think people are confused about the Ford GT and the GT40. But i'm still a chevy lover, born and bred. I would give up my left testicle for a Z06... and that's by far my favorite testicle.:banana:
