I just went and saw World Trade Center today, with mixed opinions before going in.
My first thoughts when i saw the previews was "OMG, I can't believe hollywood could take one of Americas biggest tragedys and turn it into a movie".
After seeing it, I totally changed my mind. The movie was, well you can't really say that a movie about something like that was "good", but I do think that I can say that it couldn't have been done any better. It really makes you feel like you were there, and feel the pain that those people felt. Im not even afraid to say that I had tears in my eyes for most of the movie, and chills down my back.
I dont wanna tell you guys what it was about or rather the way that it was portrayed (you already know what its about lol), but the way that it was made was amazing. It didnt turn into some story of romance like Pearl Harbor did, this was the real thing, the way those on sight saw it, and the things that people felt. I honestly think its better to be able to go see that movie with no idea what to expect. But i definitally recommend that you guys go see it. This was the kind of film that you have to see in theatres... being on that huge screen just brought so much more life to the whole thing. Pay the 8 or 9 bucks that it costs nowadays, and go see it.
