what you guys think about todays' breaking news!?

terrorists plot foiled, plan to blow up 10 planes with liquid bombs...
21 arrested, beleived to be 50 terrorists involved.
it's all over the news.

Let's see some cruel and unusual punishment, but chances are George bush will probably let them go with a slap on the wrist....

airports are delayed, and they arent allowing any fluids, gels, creme's, on the plane...

i saw a guy throw away 5 bottles of expensive cologne, he wasnt happy.

The bust itself is awesome, I was up watching all last night. At first they were saying 20 planes. I mean had this not been stopped, just think about it, 10 planes times maybe 2-300 passengers, if not more. I dont really know what to say about it, its sick, and I dont think it will ever stop.

wtf dont they learn....do they think by doin this its gonna cripple the US or somethin? i still dont think they have relized the power of our armed forces...what r theyre makeshift troops gonna do against ours? all they have it a suprise box full of weapons and after that what else do they have? caves and a bunch of sand...i just had 4 of my friends that were in the marines come home the other month and ive lost 1 in "operation iraqy (sp)freedom"...all of there tours were over there to keep the peace and now looks what happens...what is the point of being there anymore when people r still gonna rebel against the US and threaten our population when we r tryin to protect theirs? thats my rant

its diffcult to say about what "really going on" with the war. In my opinion and I want to clearly state in "MY OPINION" the government uses fear on us. Of course the media is bias leaning towards the conservative party. The government uses the media to "remind us" that "we" need the government. The US has no reason to be in Iraq or have any concern with that country.

This is one of those moments where I give Kudos to GWB. I heard phone tapping and racial profiling played a big role in this. This is the same method that the British use that we use, except we call it homeland security. Oh yeah, who said racial profiling is wrong. But we are not going to hear any of this in the liberal media.

Last I heard, 24 arrest has been made and there's absolutely no liquids allowed now, even in baggage area.

You can't do cruel and unusual punishment because of the Democrats and the UN are watching. You see it's Ok for them to blow us from the face of the earth, but we need to be humane to them. They're even allowing them to have civil trail.

Guards at Guantanamo (misspelled) are being attack everyday by this prison terrorist with fan blades, utensils made to be sharp, and biting. They're even throwing feces, semens, urine, and hot drinks at them. I'm piss because you don't hear that in the liberal media. All you hear are guards beating them up and the media is symphatatic to them.

Yes, folks this is a totally different era of war. Countries like Lebanon, Iran, Syria, Pakistan are providing shelters and allowing terrorist to thrive. Heck their governments are even afraid of them. I mean where the hell do these terrorist get all these bombs. I'm positive that Iran will soon be supplying them with nukes.

We are totally screwed if we don't come together and do something about this. And I don't mean just us, I mean rest of the countries as well.

I just saw a news report this morning, nothing new but a man was stopped by the police, and was being searched/ patted down... and he had a bomb on his belt, he detonated it... blew himself up and killed 30+, injuring 100+... that doesnt help.

For example...with the Isreal war going on. The US cause it with WW2 "we" separted the country in half and place the Jews there. The citizens of the country are discourage outraged at the US. Imagine if the US was seperated it will cause a war. In this "Government Sytem" the US picks and supports certain countries. That is by aiding, funding, and etc. Sometimes the US supports the rebels and sometimes the country government. That creates so much conflict that it creates enemies. The US aided/train Bin Laden and his troops at one point. Now they are considered "terrorist" its just doesn't make sense.

i think you need to listen and watch clearly...there is nonthing wrong being liberal or conservative. it seems you lean more towards the conservative paty. i recommend that you take a political science course. The media is conservative and thats a fact. I urge you to research who owns the networks and who are they networking.

Have you read my post #5. The media here in Calif. is liberal...very liberal. This is by the way a "liberal state." Don't say it's not.

Political Science, I thought the course a couple of years ago along with Governement. :)

I don't follow your thinking here. a) they are being held in Britain. GWB has little to do with that and b) he's waged two wars on terrorists. That's hardly a slap on the wrist.

I aggree with SilverRS96. They just won't learn they're lesson. You would think that after 9-11, they would realize that blowing up innocent people doesn't hurt us...instead, it makes us all unite for one greater good and kick their godd*mn a**es. I don't care what you guys say, I think it's about time we pull out an A-Bomb....maybe that'll get thier attention.
