Re: Anyone Wanna Buy an 09' Camaro??
then, it says you can purchase it for the MSRP. ?? So, it's $20,000 + whatever the remaining cost is? I'm not understanding this.. oh, yeah, and there's one going for $25,000 on ebay too.2004 CE Corvette 10.86@132mph

Re: Anyone Wanna Buy an 09' Camaro??
the sad thing is somebody somewhere WILL probably buy the sucker. the auction price is the amount over MSRP. you might get thru with a legal loophole and order the thing fully loaded, then you'd only have to pay the MSRP+ your $5k. but then agian, that's probably wishful thinking2000 3.8L Camaro A4 Pewter Y87
K&N Filter, SLP Ram Air kit, Eibach Pro Kit, Flowmaster 80 series, Silverstars, NGK plugs and MSD Super Conductor Wires, Electric Water Pump

what its saying is you are going to pay a certain amount of money to basically "hold the car" just for you, so you will pay the auction price, and MSRP Price to ensure you are the first one to own that car.

The thing is, you don't know what you're getting. No one knows what the car is definately going to look like either. And usually the first year of any make/model has issues. Although it's cool to be the first to own something new, I'd rather wait and see if I like the looks of it on the road AND make sure all the bugs are worked out.2004 CE Corvette 10.86@132mph

This guy is great ...... Scott ...
"To them, I say “we need to do it right -- we’re starting with a clean sheet of paper.” Unlike others, we’re NOT going to take a hallowed nameplate and stick it on an existing architecture that does not deserve to have such a nameplate. (and please -- I’m not saying bad things about OUR other architectures -- I’m just saying that each architecture serves a purpose.....and we don’t want to compromise the Camaro in any way)" -- Scott
i think this new camaro would worth the wait..... i am gonna hold on to my current car until i buy this new camaro....... i am starting to put money in my "Camaro Fund"

Dealerships were doing the same thing with C6s and GT500s. For the GT500s you were bidding how much over msrp you would pay to reserve one. Obviously, that car is special and rare, but if there is demand then people will pay it.

Re: Anyone Wanna Buy an 09' Camaro??
The more I think about it the less ridiculous it gets....
I mean the Camaro is the last of the pony cars to make a come back, first quarter of 2009, and by then the Challenger is back, Mustang will have been back for awhile....selling the rights to one will lock someone up from falling to another muscle car instead.

What they are saying though is, the winning bidder, is a moron. :p
What if it turns out like the Mustang. It was cool to see them when they first came out with the new body style. Now there are 14 million trolling around the streets and you just get tired of seeing them. Who will care if you had one of the first ones then?05 GTO
97 W68
<a href=\"http://dpo.rpai
