It's their car, they worked on it, and enjoyed it. That's the way it's supposed to be. more power to them.

I just never heard of perfomance hood struts

Exactly why I was posting it. Its not a show winner or a street killer. But all in all a nice clean not too flashy car. Its a guy and his kid putting some work into the car. YOu can keep building and building a car to be insane fast or show car but then it looses its real fun of being a comfortable thing to just take to a couple meets cruise around and enjoy.

I do agree pointing out the hood struts and some other stuff was a little ehhh... Maybe mustangs don't have hood struts? So then I guess its a cool mod.

My dad used to be a decent car guy, he did some of the maintenance on them when he had time(alternator here and there) even though it was a little bit, it was still cool to work with him. I sort of self taught myself alot but he helped me a little, I really took off on my own, and the car guy in him really hung out. Its really kind of funny, alot of times I am showing him and explaining things to him. Its almost a reversed role thing, but he never really kept up with the modern car. But it seems in the last 5 years or so he really started getting into.

Its funny not sure a coversation on the phone goes by with my dad where car stuff is not brought up, even if its a "hows the car running" from one of us.

As for the front end alignment, I don't know much about it, but for some reason on Mustangs, if they lower or do suspsension adjustments there is alot of stuff that needs to be done with Caster/camber plates and a front end alignment. its pretty common mod stuff, that seems us f-body people don't really do much)

(sorry I buy Mustang magazines to read, haven't really bought a GM one in years though)

They put out 300 hp, don't know about tq. I love how the feel though. Nice car. Not deserving of a video but at least he's teaching his son muscle and not rice.

I don't understand the shaker hood scoop though. It seems useless, or was I missing something. Shouldn't the filter be on that, not that cone filter he had sucking hot air from the under the hood?

I was thinkning the exact same thing...

BTW, 281 is the size of the motor. ;)

I was just saying an alignment isn't really a mod. Any car that is lowered should be realigned. Same kind of deal with the struts and tint. I don't think it really needs to be highlighted in the video. I would imagine it's all in there because he made the video for his son...
