  • video editor people.. i have a question

i have a video that is in .mov form. i want to add some music behind it and also have a few words of texts for an intro and then add a picture at the end for an outro. also i want to clip off the last few seconds of the video. anyways, is there anyone here who can help me? or at least tell me what kind of software to buy or download? thanks.

if youre curious about what video.. look a few threads down haha.

.mov's are usually hard to work with, get it to some form of MPEG and your options open up much more.

the only movie editing i've done was in 7th/8th grade. I was using I-movie and did some cool stuff (for back then). But i'm guessing you don't have a mac.

Funny you should ask this. Just Sunday I pulled a vid off my buddies camera, a .mov. None of my video editing software will let me edit a .mov. I've converted it using multiple converters to .mpg, and they all clipped off the outer portions of the vid. It's like it cropped the video edges making it smaller. If you find a converter that doesn't do that, or maybe you didn't realize your's did, let me know...
