I've visited. One or both of the national parks on either side of town are worth a visit. The one on the west is bigger. There are botanic gardens west of town, with a neat insect zoo. There are some interesting restaurants downtown, I liked the Cup Cafe in the old Hotel Congress. More a breakfast/lunch thing than dinner.

Of interest to some would be the old movie lot and the Kitt Peak observatory.

My impression was that it's more of a nice middle America place to live than a tourist destination. Especially in August.

I live here, but I just got back into town last night, and I have to find a job by the end of the week.
No drinking for me this week! :(
If you are younger hit up the college bars.
If you are older, hit up the foothills bars.
At both bars the girls are the same age, but they are after different things! :)

Ah, true, UofA is starting back up so there should be plenty of crowds on 4th avenue this weekend.

My personal experience is that there are gorgeous babes in Tucson. :D

Great city.
