I was at Walmart and I was reading how LS1's were being dropped into RX-7 cars. These lightweight imports were producing some awesome power. There are pics of the SS Camaro in there too. It's rare to see an F-body in this kind of mag. Usually they only do imports.
I didn't get a chance to read but I'll be sure to get myself a copy next time.
Re: Check out this month's "Sport Compact Cars"
SCC is a horrible publication. I wouldn't really consider a f-body a compact of any kind. They probably just put it in there because they were talking about ellis wan.
The swap into FDs isn't anything new. I think a sbc has been in every engine bay at some point (that's one ****ty engine). I personally love it because you get the power and tq curve of the LS-1 and the style and handling of the FD. Of course, a die hard FD person will probably try to stab you in the heart with a rotor if they find out what you are going to do.
Re: Check out this month's "Sport Compact Cars"
i've heard of people putting (lol) ellis wan's and LS6's in miata's. i saw a site one time for a ford 5.0L in there too. they call them "monster miatas" and i think that those things would probably beat the snot outta anything else on teh track... talk about 4 wheels, brakes and an engine...

Yep. Zero to Dead quicker than anything else on the planet... infact i'd hazard to say that its probably even more dangerous than falling off a cliff.
