He drove back to milwaulke from st louis tonight where hes starting dental school this week (at marquette). as he was moving his stuff in a scytsofrentic (SP?) lady and her kid walked into his apartment and started looking through his stuff. He walked in and told her to get the hell out. When he did she told him she had a gun. Then she ran to the kitchen and pulled a knife on him. He ran into a room and she ran after him. She slammed her arm in the door and kept shoving the door on her. Finally she ran out and into some other apartment. Public safety finally knocked her down.

Needless to say this freaked us all out pretty bad. I cant even imagine what i would have done in a similar situation. Im just glad hes ok.

My parents are probably doing the worst after this. Some of you may remember this:

somehow he survived that wreck after a while in intensive care. my parents are always a wreck when he gets on the road now. its ironic as they were saying they were so relieved after he arrived safely in milwaulke this evening. then they hear this story a couple hours later...

Unreal, glad your brother is ok though. Unfortunately this is one of those kind of incidents which can happen to anyone, and just rattles you. I hope he reported the incident to the police. That lady should be locked up, she's a danger to the community. Funny though, she's lucky she never pulled that crap on a comparable psycho who would have simply closed the door behind her and probably chopped her to peices. One day she'll probably pull this crap with the wrong person and be in store for a terrible lesson.
