They do bear a strange resemblance to the Nazi SS badges, but I doubt very many people would make that connection. That said, I don't like the badges and I don't like the car. GM continues to cheapen the SS badge as they have the past 6 years or so. It's sad. The Lumina name will never be SS-worthy, it was never a muscle car, it was never a performance car. Why try to resurrect it now and give it that image?
