So Pontiac is just going to become a rebadged Holden then??

Re: New Grand Prix pic
You guys are impressed by that??
I'm sure not!
What happened to the Fisher Body Design department?? Did some one kill them all off or something? Can't GM USA design a good looking car anymore??
What.... now every fricken car that Chev wants to sell in North America has to come from Holden? Who in Holden caught the CEO of GM in the act of giving it to a pig??
The best designed cars in the world should be comming from the USA, and all those mickey mouse countries should be importing them, not the other way around.

Re: New Grand Prix pic
GM is going to get what it feels are the best designs from whatever country: GM isn't an American company any more than Toyota is Japanese. International corporations are just that, INTERNATIONAL. The Camaro, Grand Prix, etc. are based on Holden platforms, but the design of the Camaro is based on a solely American car. It's not where the car was designed that's important, it's the finished product. The new Grand Prix looks good, but not great IMO, maybe I need to see one in person before making a judgment.-Eric
2002 Navy Blue Camaro...Striped and Stalled. 35th Anniversary SS wheels
Best ET: 15.384 @ 88.32 on street tires
Project Whitney: Goal, 14.0 1/4 by summer 2008.

Re: New Grand Prix pic
I dont know what GM is planning on doing with Pontiac, but this Grand Prix wont appeal to the old Grad Prix's main customers, which were families, and older people. I think it looks O.K, maybe a tad plain.

It is kind of sad that all of Chevy and Pontiac's new cars are Holden based. But i would rather have a nice looking re-badged Holden than a crappy looking all-american designed chevy (impala and malibu )
[EDIT] You know if you look at it real hard it looks like a Mazda.

Re: New Grand Prix pic
y'know I bet it sells like crazy....I mean what "dad" doesnt want a sports car, but be able to haul the little ones around too + groceries.....If people like it half as much as the cts-v...it will sell, that is if they drop the price tag by about 20k from the V's price......everyone loves the commodore...so why not??? and also, Id rather have a car thats been tested for a couple years by some other schmucks so I dont have to take mine to the dealer every month...so whatever...still all the pontiacs look way to similiar nowadays....oh well.

Re: New Grand Prix pic
this is another car gm needs but this is another prime example of gm waiting for another domestic company to try something first. i mean we probably won't see this on the road until the camaro comes out, maybe a year before. while chrylser has been selling chargers and 300c's for a few years. gm just doesn't seem to lead anymore, they always follow.JpX

Re: New Grand Prix pic
Ugh the 6.0 is only a fricken 364cu motor.... Nothing to brag about... :-/ They should build another 400 small block for it! Stupid American companies, lets build everything we have powerful and lose the entire market share across the world base. They will learn sooner or later.
But beyond my rant, does look kinda cool, but I wont buy one.1995 Camaro 3.4 A4

CAI,IAT Relocate
