Does life exist on other planets?

While I have no proof firsthand, I think it is ridiculous to assume that life does not exist when taking into account the vast size and number of celestial bodies out there. I am serious, there must be so much life out there it would make Steven Spielberg and George Lucas' tales look tame. That's what I think!

There are very religious people that don't believe life could exist elsewhere. Like my mother.... she is certain that the only life is here on Earth!! LOL

I said, yes. I think life do exist in other solar system or space. Whether if it has intelligence, maybe. BUt there is proof that life once existed in Mars.

Intelligent life? Judging by my day to day interactions with people I would say we haven't even discovered it most places on earth yet.

I say I dunno, cuz we just don't know. There could be another Earth out there, somewhere, with people just like us living like the old horse & buggy days, or so far ahead of us we could not imagine. Or there could be nothing, anywhere.

Yes! .....There has got to be a another planet where they have life....the universe is so huge ...... if there wasn't a planet with life, how do you explain UFOs? ..... i think there are other planet like earth in the universe and they have population.....

I voted yes. Even though the number of star systems with actual terrestrial planets is extremely small, and we ourselves don't even really know how life came about (we have no idea how to make something "live"), you just can't discount it. There is simply so much we don't know/haven't discovered yet. :bowdown:

one thing that get me though is people who say how likely is it that there is another planet that is just like ares to support life. That one really steams me cause is so ignorant for people to think that there has to be water, oxygen mild temps according to us and so on and so on. no matter what, life can exist. a life form can live in 2million degree weather breathing carbon dioxide and drinking sulfuric acid. we just happened to evolve to live off oxygen and water. So if you ever hear someone say what i described as annoying, slap them for me and tell them to read a book other than the bible and Chevy high performance.
