      Yeah yes...it's still a hundred degrees here in sunny Southern Cali.

      Say how come in Mexico they call their hurricane, John, and in the US we call ours, Ernesto?

      Remember last year, the US got hurricane Katrina, while Mexico got hurricane Stan.

      ...weird.

                My school was cancelled for the day on wednesday, cuz of the "terrible" storm... what a waste.

                  Wow, we got rain harder than that in NYC a couple of weeks ago. I saw alot worse in Daytona in July as well. Thats a good thing though, thnkfully it wasnt major.

                          im guessing because....
                          you name the hurricanes in the beginning of the the year with names starting at a, then b, then c, then ......
                          im guessin mexico has seen more??? or classified other storms as hurricanes or something..... my 2 cents

                              I think he was asking why we get mexican names for our hurricanes, while mexico gets gringo names.
                              Not so much why they are alphabetically later than us.
