I put 2 70 lb sandbags in the rear and I have a set of 4 good snow tires too. I get around just fine.

Well, since its a 3.4 its kinda torquey down low and there is no limited slip. I had a '93 and its sort of a joke. One wheel doesn't help much

Just drive responsibly and you will be fine if you posses the ability.

Drove the wife's Z over in Germany in the winter... it's not that bad. You get used to what you can and can't do quick. Like the DOGG said, you'll be fine if you take it easy.

Get a spare set of wheels (not pretty ones, just wheels) and a set of real snow tires. Not all seasons, real snow tires, which are marked with a snowflake and a mountain. Bridgestone Blizzaks are the originals, but there are others available now. Dunlop Graspics are pretty inexpensive.

                HUGE difference.

215/60 is a good size for these. You don't want them too wide.

I presume ("just got my license") that you live with your parents. I'll bet they'll fund this purchase.

HAHA I remember trying to drive uphill in the snow one time: max speed: 25 mph. LOL. Get good tires, stopping isn't any more of a problem than in other cars. Acceleration will be your main issue.

Wow... how fortuitus is this? I was actually thinking of maybe moving back to MA and was wondering the same question, now i don't have to start a thread on it. When i lived there before i drove a FF car and that was a pain... SGS FTW!

I drove mine part of this past winter and like someone stated earlier you find out really quick what you are capable of. 360 degress later I found out, if you can do it in 180 your doing good. Just be smart.

It's not really a problem actually. I assume 94s have 2nd gear start if you need it.

It's pretty rough sometimes here in the winter for me. It gets so cold here that some nights I'm forced to drive with the T-tops on. :omg:
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.
