9.3 second car

My neighbor has a 70's Buick dragster that consistently runs 9.30s. (His best run was a 9.25). He posted up some vidoes:

~900 HP. He just had the motor redone, and I forget the details of it now. Next time I see him, I'll ask.

When he starts that thing, my entire house shakes. It's incredibly loud - I love it. :banana:

haha, an old teacher of mine back in high school would run 10's in his '89 GNX. and that was with his fat 300lb butt driving too that was like the 3800's ancestor motor. thats a sweet ride tho dude! tell him congrats on having such a beast of a car!

Yeah, that thing is sweet. My neighbor down the street had a '72 Lemans GT with a 455 in it. It had about 500 hp and ran 11s consistently, when he would start it, i could hear it all the way up by my house.

For any body in the area, NW Indiana to be exact ever heard of turbo Joe Lubrant? He owns a mid 8 second Buick T-Type, single turbo.
He did all the programming himself, and is now Contracted through F.A.S.T. , to do their engine management Units

Very badass car, and According to John Lingenfelter, he is "The best ECU programmer in the Nation"

Its a shame he had to move to Flordia
