Man I love snowboarding! I just wished there was somewhere closer to fargo so I could go more than twice a year. Thats pretty sweet that its indoors. How high does that hill go? Or are you pretty much at the top there?

Yeah, I love the snow. I started skiing when I was 4 (lived in Europe... can't beat the alps!) and then switched over to snowboarding when I was 10 or 11... I'm 22 now. Go to school in Ohio, so it is miserable without even any big hills. I have to switch my bindings over to goofy to make the tiny hills slightly more interesting.
That indoor slope, which is in Dubai, isn't too small considering that its INSIDE a mall. What you see in that picture is about half of it, it turns to the right at the bottom of what you can see and has another stretch. Both parts are basically split down the middle so it is sort of like 4 slopes. There is also a little park in there, they won't let you in without a helmet though, which I think is gay. I got the 1/2 day pass and it was the perfect amount of time.
Here is the bottom of it. Those windows are into the mall (Mall of the Emirates), so you can see all the people shopping and whatnot.

HA! Thats crazy to think thats inside a mall. Also dumb that you need a helmet for the park.
I watched "the making of" ski dubai on I think the Discovery channel... How much was the pass?
IIRC, 2 hour pass was about $50. $80 for the day. Its not terrible for a ski pass... it is expensive considering how small it is... but then you have to remember that you're in a ****ing mall... in Dubai!
Everything over there is expensive. I wanted to go into the Burj al Arab for drinks, but it was $100 just to get in, couldn't find anyone else that would go with me.
