we forgive you :wavey: I'm glad to see that people can be cured of ricer-itis. its funny, my buddy with the 474 nova always gets ricers that pull up on him at lights. he just guns it, and they realize their dual 12's cant shake a car like his engine does and they slowly back away.
back on topic: last summer i ran a 15.3 with the SLP CAI and a K&N stock everything else. you should tear him a new one. and yeah, thats what 99% of ricers do: talk and not walk. even IF they wind up pushing a rediculous amount of boost to get to say 500 hp (friend of mine did), it doesnt last like that for long. its the simple concept of metal fatigue and wear.the more cylinders you have, the less stress on each individual piston. the old saying still does and always will hold true: No replacement for Displacement.

SS's cant do 170. they do 160 TOPS. with a lighter car and 170mph capable, he should run 12's. he's feeding you a large steaming pile of Grade A, USDA Certified Prime Cut, :bs:

knock retard which means the car is pulling timing which means its not running well and not at full strength.

I suggest you go find what your car runs, then decide to challenge him or not.

he's full of :bs:.dude just kick his *** off the line, not too many honda motors have torque. i HATE the honda racing scene. the only one i respect a lil is the s2000, which although it does have like a 100,000:1 compression ratio.

                        Re: hahaha

K20 is the Acura RSX/'06 Civic Si motor and the H22A is the '94-'01 Prelude VTEC motor. The Integra Type R engine code is B18C5.

I'm guessing your Camaro should be faster than his civic...unless its a more than mildly modded civic.

Don't need so much torque off the line when you have around 1000lbs less to carry around, especially with a really lightweight flywheel. Our '90 Integra RS with stock motor (130hp/121lbft) launches just as hard off the line as my Camaro and gets to the 1/8th in the same time and mph - thanks in part to a lightweight diet and ACT Prolite flywheel (8.8lbs). Lower front tire pressures probably would have helped make it even quicker though - pressures were 36psi front/35psi rear and it still got 15.7 seconds in the 1/4.

Personally I like the Honda racing scene - ever seen what a K20 is like in a 6th generation civic on a road course? ...Yeeeehaa!
Even a stock B18A block 2nd generation integra is fun... and the rear wing sure does come in handy at high speeds!

Vracer111 who has a '90 Integra RS (2350lbs with full fuel load) with stock motor and stock intake/exhaust system that is just about as quick as his 3240lb Camaro (with full fuel load) in the 1/4 mile and quicker in the corners... It's going to rev even quicker once the custom designed intake system and exhaust system are finally fabbed.
