I have owned this car for 2 weeks now and it is doing great. I picked it up pretty cheap ($1500) just to use as work transportation. I am very pleased with my purchase. Here is what needed to be done:
Broken console lid - bought one off ebay.
Short in tail lights - fixed
    No brake lights - fixed
    Rusty coolant - fixed today
No jack or lug wrench - bought off ebay
Radio had very bad static - replaced with in dash CD unit
    Had windows tinted to 15%
    Changed oil and filter
Air bag light is on - have not addressed it yet
Cleaned the heck out of the interior and exterior.
One headlight out - replaced bulb
Idle was all over the place - cleaned AIC - fixed

That's about it. Not much cash needed, just my labor. I like the car so much that I now drive it every day anywhere I need to go.

Oops, 1993. This is a pic I took before I bought it. It is cleaner now with black windows.

You have had about the same problems as I had when I bought my car! Except I had a lot more body damage and elec. problems.

Keep up the good work man!

            Re: Progress so far

I am quite familiar with seafoam and its process, good stuff. The car runs perfect right now, so I really don't want to mess with it. I pulled the intake tube to check it out. The throttle plate and throttle body are spotless. This car was just owned by someone that did not care for details. If he had repaired all of the little things he could have sold it at a much higher price.

            Anyway, my gain.

Not yet, it has been so rainy here I haven't had the chance. Maybe tomorrow. It looks sharp with the tint and clean wheels. It has some clearcoat peeling on the roof, I may get it re-sprayed.

                  Re: Progress so far

Huh, I forgot a few more...
Rear hatch fell and smacked me in the head :twak: - bad lift supports - replaced with 2 new ones. Now when I hit the button it opens by itself.
No turn signals - bad flasher
Installed locking gas cap to stop the a-holes that steal gas now.
Untwisted the twisted up drivers seat belt - that was fun

I will try for some pics today.
