Ok so i think my car hates me

So as some of u know i broke my tranny back in may...got it fixed and all...since then ive had thie junkyard tranny in there and its been doin a pretty good job with goin to the dragway a couple times...well today it decided that its had enough with it goin into third gear like the first tranny...i was racing a gtp today and i was dead even with him....as i shifted into third not missin or grinding btw i popped the clutch and boom bang crack snap and whatever other noise u can think of sounded and that was that...needless to say the same thing that happend to the first 1 happend to this 1...now this is the real delema...

After all of this do i put the money into the car and have it fixed for the second time and sell it?? If i went this route i would still have a motor that has seen better days also with havin a oil burning problem.

Second choice sell it the way it is and hope for the best? Its got a salvage title and all plus with these problems i dont c myself gettin that much for it and all.

Third part the car out? its got a lot of options on it and i think i could make a couple bucks off of it but not sure if id make more sellin it as a whole or threw parting out

Or finally hope that after i get out of basic training that i find a decent LT-1 or LS-1?

There r my choices that i have come up with...any and all opinions r welcome cuz i really need to make up my mind and go in a direction

If you decide to sell see how much activity it gets. IF you dont get much activity i would part it out. I think you will come up pretty even either way but i would try selling it how it is first. BUT if you have money i would fix that baby up and keep it. its an awesome car!:banana:

its a alright lookin car...the guys that fixed it after it was totaled didnt do a good job fixin it...paint doesnt match and is chipping plus not all the lines match up...i would love to keep it but i dont think that it would b smart cuz id have to put a lot more than a tranny to get it to look and perform to where i want it to

I would get it fixed and trade it in on a different car or keep it. That salvage title is going to kill you either way. You will have a hard time trying to get someone to buy a broken car that was previously in a major accident. Think if you were looking for a car. Would you buy it if your knew it was in an accident and the car wasn't driveable?

dude, scrap it. thats all a cars got: looks and go. obviously yours doesnt have either. right now it falls into the "beater" category (the fuel in the tank is worth more than the car itself). i know how you feel. i didnt wanna give up my old grand am back in the day. i moved on to something WAY better. part it or scrap it and use the money towards a nicer car. its sad but thats what's gotta happen.

car doesnt look that bad...but thats the way that seems like is gonna b the best road...ive already taken all my mods off it anyways except for the clutch

ferr sherr it hates you Mike. Best advice i can give you is part it out and give me all your parts or maybe just the ZR-1's, its all good in the hood. :)
