Right under my nose.
So i've got this stain in my drivers side footwell carpet. I think its grease... or oil... or something a mechanic left there. Oh well, i thought about maybe getting some floormats... but i couldn't be bothered. Anyway, so today i decided to give my interior a good going over, vaccuming and all that. Gave the stain a good dose of Oxi-clean (not that it did much), and opened the trunk... Now those of you with convertibles will know that the trunk is all but useless... its good to hold maybe 2 12 packs of beer and thats about it. Since buying my car, i've larglely ignored it, and certainly haven't bothered to vaccum it, but today i was feeling optimistic :)
Heres what i found: Firewood (from plans of going to the beach that never materialized), sand (from plans of going to the beach that had materialized), grit, stones, my front license plate, and some weird looking black mat type things with little rubber nubbies. The latter of which puzzled me, so i took them out, and too my suprise they turned out to be the original floormats that came with my car :eek: So now i've got some floormats :)
