its been a little over 2 months since i quit smoking(cold turkey) and it feels great. i no longer waste $3.64 a day on a pack, my lungs are still black, im sure, but will not be getting any blacker lol. i also realized that i didnt "need" a cigarette, i "wanted" one every time i lit up one back when i was still smoking. plus, i WANT to be around to see my daughter grow up w/out having to worry about health issues due to smoking.
anyone else quitting/thought about quitting? i say go for it. its well worth it.
think about this:$ 3.64 x 60 = $218.00
ive saved a total of $218 as a result of me not smoking, to me, thats well worth it alone. i can now spend that money on other things for me and my family. i no longer have to step outside for a few minutes and then come back in smelling like smoke, dont have to layer myself w/ "axe" to cover the smoke smell up. its great!!! sorry for the long post, but i feel its worth it. im proud of myself.
side note: not only did i quit, by my mom quit also, july 4 was our "start" day to quit smoking.
anyone else having any luck?
