    car gets ZERO star crash test

    i present to you: the Jiangling Landwind X6 (sounds like they're trying to rip off landrover AND bmw in the same car)

    i dont know if the chinese understand the concept of the airbag, but i'm pretty sure its supposed to prevent the DRIVER from hitting the steering wheel... not vice versa.

    fyi, this is at 40 mph. yeah, even in this quasi-SUV, you'd die. no question. your neck would break. even if you did (by some miracle of God) live, your legs would be so effed up. look at how the driver front wheel rips into the passenger compartment...

    what makes me sick about the whole thing is that a german car club put together this crash test (which is the first one in HISTORY to actually break teh dummy) to show the european car administration (w/e they're called) that the car was unfit to be on the road. and they retested it, and APPROVED IT! i cant believe that the company actually is selling this car. I wouldnt be able to sleep with myself at night knowing that my company is producing cars that are basically death traps. and people complain about domestic car quality... at least you know you're safe in them. motherfcuk. thats crazy.

      Heh, just goes to prove that not only can the Chinese not drive cars, they also cannot build them.

      For shame :twak: (< nobody uses this smiley anymore :()

      Although anybody who would actually buy a white goods like that instead of a real car has it coming to them.

      [EDIT] And on those lines, i thought for a second... and i am now completely for this idea: Anything that will reduce the number of SUV drivers on the road has my vote for sure :tup:

              some chinese car companies have been sued for copywrite infringment for blatently ripping off popular designs, but using their slave labor to produce for a lower cost. at least anyone dumb enough to buy a chinese car will be rewarded with a recycled death trap... but this is pretty much the norm for almost all chinese products, yet we continue to ship our manufacturing to them... anything to save a buck... sorry, i get annoyed by this subject...

                  fully aware of all of that... dont get me started... its my firmly held believe that one day in my lifetime, ill be shooting at those ****ers in a warzone.. just hopefully not on our soil.. we really need ot keep alliences with India, since they are the only ones with enough people to help out. Russia will back china, we'll be backed by India and Japan (how bout that for a twist..)... i see no good coming from China...
