in MA alot of gas stations with alot of pumps have longer hoses to u can use both sides while keepin the line small...
they do this bcuz inthe long run the amount of gas they sell makes up for the profit theyd lose if they weren doing such high volume

i thought all the hoses had those disconnecting things too, but i was at the station a while back and saw this lady try to drive off with the hose still in the car, and it just snapped the auto disconnector thing..i guess they didn't design it too good..Comment
