smoking weed?

the smoking thread made it seem so commonplace that people smoke weed
I have never touched it, and I was just wondering if I am really that much of an abnormality.
Is it that common that MOST people smoke weed?
Do you grow out of it? (teenager through you 20's then stop?)
I'm just so glad that I never got into the habit. The job that is paying me darn well for being fresh out of college drug tested me as part of my interview. Random drug tests throughout. It seems to me that its expensive too, I guess I just didnt think I was that weird to NOT smoke an illegal substance.

I don't smoke weed either.

alot of ppl do.. my roomate smokes alot, i mean.. alot and he said he's been smoking since he was 10 yrs. old, now he's 23.

It's a waste of money IMO.. and I've been in school pretty much since i was out of high school and drug tests are pretty random.

i did when i was younger then decided it was a waste of money and quit. havent touched it in years and dont really have an urge to. im the ONLY person at my work who doesnt do it.

The only reason I stopped was I joined the Air Force, now that I'm outta the Air Force I don't even think about it anymore. It was a teenage thing here, 14-18.

I got drug tested for my job now and would never dream of smoking weed instead of my check I get here:naughty:

A lot of people do, but a lot of people I know have never touched it. Some people prefer other drugs (such as prescription pills or alcohol.) Someone I know loves the pills but has only smoked weed maybe once.

I don't really think it's THAT abnormal to not have smoked weed.

not really kinda depends. theres cough pills that will mess you up pretty good, gotta take 8 or so of course. sleeping pills are the same, take 7-8 and you'd be surprised. synthetic herion is pretty popular too, but they're pretty good stuff so thats not surprising.

ive smoked weed for a while now, still do it. id say ATLEAST 75% of people in my grade have tryed it MORE than once. alot of my friends parents smoke weed, surprised me alot to find out how many adults do it. people look down on weed so bad just becuase its illegal, its not as bad as herion which is probally just as popular if you talk world wide. small towns im sure theres not potheads than herion addicts, but thats not the point.

back in hs, there was like 2 months a smoked every other day, then i got tired of paying for it so i bought ti like every once in a while... i only smoked about a year, but even then it was like 3 days i would smoke out of the entire month........ now, i smoke about 5 times a year id say... special occasions when i wana get really messed up.... i havnt bought any in 3 years or so... just get whats offered to me.... its really not a bad drug.... anyone who thinks its bad, should just try it once so u understand the "drug"..... better yet, if u dont smoke cigs... go smoke a marlboro red, and each time u inhale, make urself cough so it opens up all poors or whatever in ur lungs by the time u smoke the whole cig, u will be buzzed off your ***.... think of that feeling, twice a much, for 100x longer ;-) i see smoking weed no worse than drinkin alcohol or smoking a cig...... but i just prefer not to be high most of the time, i just like the buzz i get from alcohol......

Never have and never will smoke weed, cigarette, drink alcohol, or anything like that. I try and keep my body clean. Sure it's fun to go out and have fun, but you can do that with-out hurting your body! To me going out and doing some donuts and burnouts is my stress reliever. Gets me excited and focused on how much I like my car compared to how much I hate whatever it was that I was hating. I don't care if you smoke weed or get drunk or w/e. Just if you smoke, not around me. I hate to breathe in the 2nd hand smoke. Stuff tastes horrible.....

My school has drug testing. You're supposed to be tested to get in, and then there's random testing. I haven't been tested once, not even to get in. Guess I just look like the kinda person who doesn't do that stuff. :)

Loser, your talking about DEX or DXM. That **** is horrible for you. Pills and alcohol are incredibly worse for you than smoking weed. I do smoke weed, but I could stop at any moment and I could care less. Its just like a treat or something at the end of the day. You'd be suprised at how many people smoke, its pretty much anyone who looks normal could be a pot head. Its sort of hard to explain, but its like everyone that smokes is in a secret club that they don't talk about openly in public, but there are small hints and notions that you pick up on that just makes it blatantly obvious.

Edit: forgot to add that I wouldn't ever bash anyone for not smoking, i won't peer pressure anyone into smoking, its their choice. I don't care what their opinion about it is unless they try to tell me its stupid and i'm an idiot for doing it. If they tell me how to live, i'll tell them. But there are a lot of cool people who will say, "i don't, but i don't care that you do" which is :tup: in my book

Double edit : its almost like a hobby too, there are so many different kinds and all have different highs and flavors :tup:
