The only reason why alchol is legal is because of all the racial groups whose cultures drink heavily. I'm not gonna say who, dont wanna offend anyone, it wouldnt offend me if someone said your race is alcholics, I know they are. It is good money for the government too

The only reason POT is banned is because of the South. Bastards didnt like blacks or other people coming into our states (like orientals) so they would blame the reason blacks were crazy is because they were smoking POT!

Dont offend us by saying that Potheads are criminals and should be shipped off to Australia or where ever to kill each other. Thats lame

i have never smoked weed and never plan on doing it. peer pressure is key in smoking weed. I have seriously been tempted to do it about 100 times by people but i refuse to give in. i guess im that stubbourn!:cool:

i go through like... 1/8 every few days

but yeah, i like it. i smoke more than i drink. growing up in europe, weed (all hash over there though) and alcohol just arent a big deal. if youre hanging out, roll up a joint and pass it around. it isnt done to get high, its more just something to do with friends. its sorta of like shisha (hooka for some people), started in the middle east, people light it up, and sit around and smoke it with friends. americans have just made it into such a big deal. yes, smoking weed is expensive, but it depends where your priorities are. i buy... enough, but i enjoy it. here, in wooster ohio, theres jack **** to do. its nice to have weed to be able to roll up and smoke with a few friends. i will NEVER try chemical based drugs (tried yak once... never again), but i will keep smoking weed. my best friend's dad (in italy) is a ~55-60 year old guy who worked for NATO missile defense. he spoke like 12 different languages fluently, and was always babbling about international security. we would go sit on their patio, pop open a bottle of wine, and smoke a joint while talking about politics. HOW IS THIS HARMFUL? weed/alcohol is only as big of a deal as you make it. if you keep it safe, there are no problems. i would never pressure someone into smoking weed. this second, im convincing my roommate to not try it. if you dont approve of smoking weed, cool! thats your choice. dont preach to me about why i shouldnt smoke it (or im going to go get head from your teenage daughter).

That brings a tear or two to my eye because of the laughter. I know too many people that smoke weed, and too many who need to pick up the habit. But NONE of them thinks they are better than the other, only you. I know one thing, my father is a better human than you could ever imagine to be, and he smokes weed. My father has helped raise me to be an understanding individual, to look at both side of an arguement, learn what you can from both, and make your assessment after and ONLY after you have gained everything you can to learn from both sides. He has taught me fairness, patience, and the importance of being unbiased. I WISH I could be like him, and I, along with MANY MANY others, will miss him when his time comes. He is a good and honest man, who has supported me thru the roughest of times in my life. But you think he should be thrown on an island, and made to fend for himself by eating what he finds??? We tried this once before, it was called the Prohibition. Worked out great too. If so confident in the policies set out by the elected representatives of this country, maybe you will ask them how and why the amendment prohibiting alcohol was then appealed a decade or so later.

all i know is that it IS illegal and it IS grounds for termination at my job, so I will not even be in the same room as someone smoking
I have told all my friends I dont necessarily have anything against pot, but those that are in charge do
now, even if it was legal, I dont know if I would smoke
maybe I would smoke like I drink, once or twice a year
I would never do it more, because no matter how mad the pro-weed people get, you can never prove that it is good for you, or even that it is neutral. Therefore, that only leaves bad
Enough things in this world are bad for our bodies, and I dont need anything else in my system on top of it

My stance in one sentence? It's illegal, and that is the main reason I stay away, and until that changes, that will be how I feel.

I personally have never smoked weed. Would I if it were legal? Maybe. I really don't care if someone else does, good for you!

I don't judge anyone else for what they do, neither should anyone else. Worry about yourself, someone goes home and gets lit, good for them. I go home from work everyday and have a beer or two, how is that any different? Should it be legalized? Who am I to decide? However, i'm sure it will be, once the government needs the ca$h bad enough, they'll legalize it and tax the hell out of it.

People smoke weed, people smoke cigs, people drink, regardless how opinionated you are, it will happen. So shut up and worry about yourself.
