are you talking about the people in this thread, or the lawmakers, or someone else
because if its people in this thread, they arent the ones imposing their will on you
but if you are talking about lawmakers, then they are imposing the will of the general public on you, and they actualyl do have that right
that is what they were elected to do

Find a politician that is willing to legalize marijuana, and I will certainly vote for them. They from what I have gained by experience in this country, the politicians only impose the will of the contributing constituents, and for the most part, that is a group of people that want to keep it illegal. This is a group comprised of mainly corporate, christian, wealthy people. Another reason why they haven't legalized it is because of the billions of dollars spent on anti-marijuana ad campaigns throughout the country. To simply spend this type of money and then REVERSE your stance on something almost overnight is a major loss in money, not to mention the hit on the self esteem of the elected officials.

Mainly, I believe what 95fbirdkid is trying to say is that he doesn't like how individuals among the general public (notably ones in here) think they have the right to force their beliefs onto others.:)

Marijuana smells like a$$ . If you want to smoke it, then it's your perogative to make yourself look like an a$$ while smelling like one. Right now it's illegal so when you get caught and go to jail, you can cry to the judge and demand an appeal. Have fun. Be happy. Now closing since some of you are promoting drugs. um shirl, yes its illegal, but i for one have been arrested, and atleast in ohio you can be caught w/ possesion up to a quarter of a lb and it is a $90 fine.....


and yes, i shouldnt have said "impossing their will upon" what i ment was that when someone thinks that since they dont think its good, than anyone who does it is automatically a bad person or that just b/c they think its wrong it should remain illegal so no one can do it responsibily
