smoking weed or doing any other drug for medical purposes is absolut crap. every single doctor in the USA can perscribe a pill form of any illegal drug out there (the medical part of the drug) for those who really need it.

Its pathetic because its an artificial escape from reality. And anyone who can't handle real life with out the help of a plant, or a toxic liquid, or a toxic stick, of a little bag of white dust, is pathetic. People do it for different reasons, but you can't argue that they do it for no reason. So unless you're smoking up cuz you've got a "medical condition" and its going to "save" your life, then yes, you're pathetic. And yes I am better than everyone else :p

WTH was that all about, artificial esacape? so, i guess alcohol,cigs,cars,animal, and pretty much everything else on earth should be illegal then right? im jumping out of planes gives people "highs" and is a " artifical escape" too then right? theres no difference just beucase you have to smoke or eat something IMO. ok,seriously going to bed. play nice guys, theres no need to get this locked, we can have a nice disscusion about it i think.

plain and simply, it is illegal for a reason. Those who makes these decisions are far more educated and experienced in this subject than anyone on this board.

No, not everything on earth should be illegal, just what I want: so MJ, Beer, PcP, and Badgers. :p

No, on a serious note, i'm actually all for legalizing pot for people over 18. You're old enough to make your own desicions about who runs the country, might as well get high while you're at it.

Thats not nessessarily true. A lot of the time things like this are political power plays, or just popular consensus. I'll point out the prohibition of Absinthe as historical pressident (sp?)

I looked up this Absinthe and your right that it shouldn't have been prohibited because the science to prove that is was physiologically bad for you and has had recent tests to prove otherwise but all liquor should be banned to. Does anyone want to start a thread on that? I'll definitely join in.

I tried it once, but didnt inhale... Productive and responsible potheads do exhist! I dont think the country is quite ready for legalization just yet though but I do think the man should lighten up on it!
