  • Has anyone been pulled over for blackouts on taillights or headlights?

Just wondering if anyone ever got a ticket for having these. I just bought some taillight covers and am looking for headlight covers. I know they are illegal here in wisconsin but i still wanna get them because it makes my car look sweet!!

Yeah, sorta. Well, I got pulled over for no front plate and then the cop started going haywire on me, yelling at me for the taillight covers. I ended up getting a ticket for no front plate. $100 fine and a court appearance. Other than that... no. But I don't like giving them a reason to want to pull me over (even though there are many reasons). lol

I got a warning once for having tinted windows but the cop said nothing about my blackouts or front license plate. Talk about weird huh.

Anyway there's tons of cars here that are driving around with blackouts, esp. those rice cars. All the Corvettes I've seen have no front license plate.

I was pulled over twice for my taillight blackouts in about 3 months. Luckily for me both times the cops just thought both my taillights had burned out. I took em off just to avoid the hassle.
