    Hello guys and gals!

I'm new to the board and this is my first posting :wavey:

My name is Thomas and I live in "good old Germany". I'm 41 years old and I like US cars.....
I bought my first US car in 1991, it was a Fiero GT from 1988... some other Pontiacs followed and today I own a 4th gen Camaro with 3,8L V6 engine...
My daily car is an Opel Calibra.......

Now I have my first big problem with the Camaro, I think it's misfire! I have never changed the plugs and wires at this engine...... I used the Search button but need some more input
But I will start a new thread in the right forum of course!

You can see, my english is not fantastic, but I'm learning :)
    All help is welcome!

thanks for reading and greetings across the big pond

    Thomas aka Fierotom
    greetings from Germany
    Thomas

PS: sorry for my english... if you found any mistakes, let me know....I'm learning

Welcome! What year Camaro do you have? Plugs on all 4 gens are a real pain. Make sure you have a 1/2" socket and a couple of different socket wrenches. I use a real small one and one that actually bends in half to get in there. You're probably looking at a few hours of work for plugs and wires (unless you're good at it). Some people get the back plugs from underneath the car, but I prefer to squeeze my skinny arms back there and get all cut up and bruised. ;) You can probably find the info in general tech and get various opinions on general maintainence. Good luck! :)

                      wow, thanks for the welcome!
I feel at home here :)

yes, the car is very clean... with 28k on the odo. I drive it only in dry weather....
If you look to the picture you can see that it is an european model with add-on turnsignals in the front fender...
In the rear bumper there ar two additional fog lights and no side markers. If it was new,
it comes with ugly side mirrors that can sway aside.... A good friend from Dover DE sold me his old mirrors.
My Camaro has the RPO Y87 option (dual pipe muffler and quicker steering ratio), but the german importer
swapped the muffler to a single pipe one (noise regulation *lol*)

Camaros and Firebirds are very rare here in Germany and spare parts are very expensive compared to the USA....

here you can see the Euro-Rear of the Camaro with the large room for the european numberplate:
