19 and making the big old 6.70/hr as a receptionist at 24hr fitness. started a yr ago at 6.25. the sales people we have make 5.25/hr but they get a hell of commission on the memberships they sell which people are in everyday for it and it evens out to maybe 13/hr w/o any degree.......thinking about switching over

21, $9.70 as a personal banking representative and I already have a job offer waiting for me there when I get my degree.

I was making close to 40k a year working as a CAD designer/Document Control for an airconditioning company, plus 12k a year working 16 hrs. a week as a Library Tech. and around 10-12k a year as a part-time personal trainer.

I was doing pretty good and constantly working all day during the week and most of my weekends. My wife and I had it pretty good. We could buy whatever we want, travel where ever we want, and give some to the church.

But in 2001-2003 everything went down the hill, quick. I got laid off from my Aircondition job, my gym went out of business, and I didn't get along with my new supervisor at the library. Yeah, I lost a lot.

Now I only make 25k a year as an Education Resource Coordinator. I hope to be 30k or close to that by the end of this year.

It really is a humbling experience. :cry:

24. 7.75/hr Working at UHAUL. Commissions when i sell our older trucks (sold 3 so far) and monthly bonuses. I get about 35-40 hours of overtime every check also.

Im 26 making 14/hr (estimate cause it's all salary) with HS diploma. I hate school and ironically I work at one. Just submitted resume for a new job hopefully that will be closer to 20 an hour. I dont make near enough to buy the toys I want, damn these bills, damn them all to hell.

I'm 24 and make $18.00 for first 40 hours and 27.00 for all overtime. I usually work about 10 hours overtime a week but the cool thing is I make my own schedule and work whatever amount of O.T. I want. I have a H.S. diploma and 5 years of military airplane electrical experience. Plan on going to school to work on planes again. About same money but I'll enjoy it alot more

Salary, but it equals $31.00 / hr. one year out of college, 24 yrs old. Not too shabby.

Still kinda p*ssed though because my coworkers doing the same job make 41/hr to 48/hr... but I can only make 31 because im a newb. Maybe in a couple more years...

P.S. - I still shell out 500 a month just in college loans though :(

I WAS making a little over $15 an hour before my boss fired me. My guess was that I was pilfering the hell out of the insurance, and managed to rack up $22k in bills in the 6 months I was there. So for the next three and a half months, im going to pilfer unemployment. Can't find a job that I would be making anything CLOSE to what I was for in the same field, so I would be making more off unemployment than I would be working.

But after the 3 1/2 months of that, I start my training at the IBEW-NECA training center in Chicago IL. After 5 years of that, I believe the pay is $32.44 an hour, with possibilities of making more, depending if I get my bachelors degree or not.

but i did totally build up my camaro in every way possible, i'm getting married, buying a house and saving up for the 09 camaro.

in the winter i make up to 400 dollars a day i only get paid somthing like 4/hr but i get monster tips i am a snowboard instruter a cb mountian resort. and the summer i make 13.88 a hr
