i make more than i should considering the amount of work i do. im 24. i work at a steel and pipe warehouse loading semi trailors w/various pieces of steel/pipe(all work is done w/overhead crane). learned how to drive/back up a semi w/trailor, was nervous at first, then realized its honestly not that hard. i figured id have alot of trouble backing one of those huge 40+ft semi trailors between 2 other parked trailors(about 8 or so ft between trailors) to squeeze in their. specially since ive NEVER backed up or pulled any kind of trailor at all. co-workers kept telling me its easier than backing up a regular trailor. at first i was like yea, right, bs. but after i did it a couple times, seemed fairly easy. 40hrs a week. 8-4:30 M-F. i am a hs grad w/1 year of college.

in south carolina its 5.15, but they almost passed a law that would raise minimum wage to 7.15 or 7.25, cant remember off the top of my head, i was really pulling for it to go through, but no such luck:(

Well im 21 finishing up my 4th year in college getting a degree in accounting.
Work at a UPS store right now making enough i guess, worked there for about 1 1/2 now.
Then I make 15-25 a game for reffing at a sports facility where my buddy manages, so about another 300/wk for about 12 hours
Helps pay for school and other things, saving up to buy a house and a new car.
Not trying to be mean or anything to anyone, but if you work for close to miminum wage get out now. No reason to deal with peoples **** for nothing. Making what i makeat UPS im not even happy with that, if i had to actually do work there id probably quit. Working in a restuarant when ur like 16-20 is the best. You can make fat cash if your a cook, and cash on the spot for being a waiter. Cant really go wrong there. And if your good, u can quit any place and just go somewhere else. All resturants are looking for good waiters, easiest job to get IMO.
no, its not an easy job, i would never do it in my right mind, you have to deal with so much bs , and its on a night to night basis, there is the possibility for good money, but you also have to really work at it. ( i work in a restaurant, not a waiter, i cook and i'm a supervisor, i'm also 17) i make enough being in high school, but not nearly enough to live on
I will just say that I make a very good living. Money is usually not an issue. Then again, I am nearly 34 years old, so I should be making a good living.
Just remember, the more you make, the more you spend.
I make 6.90 an hour dish washing at a resturant, and 10.50/hr in the summer on a farm...im in highschool ill put it at that.

20.50hr being a PO-PO and we get TONS of overtime cause we have to go to court and we get a 2hr minimum every time we go. And if we want to work extra jobs they very from 19hr to 35hr depends on who we work for. Good paying job thats fun....
