Any opinions on the new Subaru Legacy's?

I've been looking at this silver 06 left over at this dealership for a while. I think Monday im going to drop off the deposit after I get my insurance quote. I did some research into it, test drove it, worked out a price and everything but would like to hear any comments or experiences you guys have had with Subarus. How's the service departments?

This will be the first import I'll own. (if you don't count my bike or GTO)

The GTO is a rebadged holden Monaro and is shipped over from Austrailia. The build quality is a dead give away it's not an average GM... :p

What trim level you looking at? I was thinking about going to test drive a GT. They seem like pretty cool cars.

gah why do people like subaru's? If you want an suv, get an suv. If you want a car, get a car. I have noticed that every lesbian couple i've ever seen, (my dad has noticed this too, along with some friends)..EVERY ONE drives a Subaru. And now i associate Subarus with Lesbians.

Nothing against you if you get it. But i hate the way all of them look.

Legacy 2.5i Limited. All the options but the turbo and GPS. This will be my winter/commuter car, so I need good gas mileage so that means no turbo. I've got the Goat for HP and the bike for speed :p

Hmm, SUV? I'd say the only thing remotley similar between a Legacy sedan and an SUV is the fact it's AWD. It doesn't even have beefy suspension like an outback. If I wanted terrible gas mileage, I'd buy an SUV. I drove a 12 mpg SUV for a couple of years.

And I've heard that rumor before about Lesbians and Subaru's, haha. Not enough to sway my opinion though.

Lol, well then the lesbians have good taste! :naughty: Maybe I'll buy a big @ss rainbow sticker for the windshield banner and fit right in. :p

The majority of rich people buy Focus's cause they are cheap mofo's. How you think they have all that money?

i was actually flipping through the channels a while back, and i saw a subaru commercial, and since it was a car commercial, i decided to watch it, not knowing what channel i was on.. It turns out the whole commercial was aimed at gay/lesbian couples, and i didn't realize until i checked that the channel was actually some kind of gay/lesbian channel...what they put on satalite tv is amazing...

I guess the same can be said with 4th gen. Fbodies that's built in Canada and with some parts that's manufactured in Mexico.

The Fbody isn't a rebadged Canadian car that was designed and sold in Canada by a Canadian car company for 4 years prior to it's release to the US. The goat is an Austrailian car with American nameplates and an American designed engine and drivetrain.

So it's in that grey area, but I didn't count it as an import anyways. :p
