One thing I've noticed on the Legacy forum that everyone *****es about is how thin Subaru paint is. You'll get rock chips pretty easy. I doubt you care that much though since it's a DD/winter car.
They actually sold the '06 this morning, 8:30 AM. Like immediatley after they opened. What are the chances?
Either way, I convinced them to sell me an 07, for only 1500 dollars more than the 06. Mind you, the 06 had a 2750 Subaru manufacturer rebate, I got the dealership to drop off an extra 2800 dollars themselves, and give me a 10 yr 100 kmi warranty since the car was a demo with 5kmi on it. They agreed to paint the bumper and replace the rim with a new one where it was lightly scratched from someone apparently rubbing up against the curb for free. So I was getting the 06 for like dirt cheap. But it sold one hour before I brought the deposit in, and I'll bet that sucker paid full price too.
So now im getting an 07, brand spankin new, for just 1500 more, WITH the 10yr 100,000 warranty too, free of charge, lol.
