  • What was the first F-body you remember seeing?

For me I was 3 and I remember my dads blue 74 T/A 455 SD M4. LT's, h-pipe and glasspacks. That thing was a beast!

oh boy... i remember it clearly....i was driving my accord (yes! i was a import guy b4!) so, i was driving in my city (left lane) ....and out of no where this Black Trans Am just came from behind...it had the w68 ground effects, exhausts etc......it came real fast and in my rear view mirror i saw coming .....i almost pissed my pant......and saying to myself wtf is that....so, i go to right lane so that it could pass me ....and as it was passing by me i felt in love with how rumble it sounds.....i have seen millions of mustangs but apprearance wise i think there are ONLY A FEW cars in the world that can beat it....... i am like, i gotta get me one of those .......then i started searching about f-body, gathering information and ultimately owned my first f-body in 2004 .....i still have a thing for Trans Ams....i just do :) ...... can't afford it right now as a student but i see myself in one in near future...... very near future...haha ... ;)

I dont remember the first f bod cuz I have been going to car shows since I was in a stroller. BUT, I do remember what inspired me to buy a v6.

There was a little, crappy car lot near my parents house and it just so happened to have a 95 Z28 and I thought it was a sweet lookin car!! I thought to myself, I could actually afford one of those with a v6 in it. Sure its not as fast as a v8, but hell, its better than the 91 Mercury Tracer I'm driving right now!! Weeks later, I bought my first 97 3800 and havent regretted it since. :)

                  Ok, was a 1969 an F-body?
                  If so, 1969 Firebird.

                  Then 1977 Trans Am

                  Then 1979 Firebird Formula

                  Then 1982 Trans Am

                  Then 1982 Camaro

                  Then 1982 Firebird

                  Then 1984 Firebird

All cars in my family. Firebird Formula was my favorite. Blue exterior, white interior.

when entered high school , a guy had a Z28 with the groundeffects, lowered (real low, maybe even bags), had a nice exhaust. it was badass.

Apparently when I was young I rode in my moms friends 3rd gen Z28 a few times, I don't remember it though. The only one I remember was a teal 93-97 on the street in the old town I used to live in.

I really started noticing F-bodies when they really started looking good...93-97  From about 6-7 i fell in love, and started saving at about 10. my dream though was a pewter '98 SS, or at least a pewter '98. But then i decided with headlight covers, the 93-97s almost look better, when in black...almost.

I remember seeing 3rd gen Camaros when I was little and I was in love with them. I had always wanted a 3rd gen Camaro then I found they were slow so I got myself a 4th gen.
