Re: Is your city on the most dangerous list?

haha, i was gonna say 1 murder, robbery blah blah blah..

Detroit laughs at you, that would be a good rate for them every hour.

I live about 15 miles from detriot in Canton and i think canton is the safest place in the world.

Nothing bad happens here, but if u go to detroit you either dont come back out or u get stabbed er something

We all know why its like that, but no one will say why

St. Louis is pretty ****ed up. Lots of drug busts/rings, murders, robberies, etc. East St. Louis is a no no unless you have 5% tint. North St. Louis is a no go, down town is a no go.

I live about 20 minutes north of Detroit in Sterling Heights (definitely one of the safest cities in the country). Detroit isn't THAT bad. I would never live there, but it's not that dangerous to just go to the city. Detroit even hosted the Super Bowl...can't be that bad. I've been in Detroit plenty of times for Red Wings and Tigers games and haven't really had a problem. My friend's dad owns an auto store right in the heart of Detroit...only been robbed once..haha..the guy actually pulled a gun on my friends dad so he just gave the guy all the money.

Flint #4 on that list suprises me though...I guess maybe because I'm never in Flint...

There are parts of St. Louis that are totally fine, but once you get to a bad part you'll know. We used to drive around North City in my buddy's Impala just for fun and the hood is a totally different world from suburbia. Its insane, if you turn down a side street you will get ****ed with. Crack heads, rims, its just totally different

Re: Is your city on the most dangerous list?

Yeah, Ive gone to a bunch of tigers/wings games and i go to the casino  alot too. Its pretty safe downtown in Detriot

But if u go off in the wrong direction and get lost, your F***ed

theres a reason in detroit they have cages, fences, bulletproof bldgs(if they could) all around, its not for the looks.

At the superbowl they had a sign the said "Hope you make it out alive" or something along those lines, and i think thats the truth.

Well, I am originally from Queens, New York. Now we live in Miami. Miami has way more crime then NY, I was quite suprised. Neither of the cities were on the list though.
Lot's of Gangsta crap and Gang Wars going on down here, pretty bad. Need more cops...

Yeah, Rochester is a very nice area. Didn't realize someone on here lived that close to me. The only problems we have around here are stolen systems. Kids in this area are really into it I guess. It's a good excuse to get my parents to let me park in the garage though!

Yeah, that's true. About 2 years ago a couple of my friends and I were looking for a basketball game to go to and it was at some arena in Detroit, but we didn't know exactly where we were going. It was also already 7:00 and dark. We ended up taking Schoennher all the way until it ended. It went to something like 4 mile. Well once you get into the single digit mile roads you're definitely in a bad area. We saw some bad things...homeless everywhere...garbage and everything from peoples houses in the streets...tons of stray dogs...it was pretty scary. We ended up at this building with big smokestacks and a ton of cars were around there. I called my dad to see if that was the place and he said yeah (just by the description). So we decided to go in and as we were walking up to the door we realized it was Denby High School (a very bad high school...the week before there was a shooting there with uzis...not even exaggerating). It was a dance and we were definitely the only white people there...one of my friends was a red head to make it even worse. We were getting some bad looks from everyone around...the dance had just ended and everyone was coming outside. We basically ran back to the car and got the hell outta there. I pretty much almost sh!t my pants. I learned to never drive around in Detroit again when you don't know where you're going.

Or have 5% tint but seriously, 5%

I've seen cars get stopped in the middle of a side street, people come down off their porches, block off the road in both directions, its pretty rediculous :(

Detroit is pretty bad. I used to reposess cars/boats/RVs/motorcycles/etc there. The great thing is though, that no ones gives a **** in Detroit so it makes it easier for us to take their cars. We would just break into people's garages and break their fence off with our trucks and take their cars.
But yeah, there are bunch of neighborhoods full with burned down houses and crack houses and what not. Dead end streets are the worst, I would never go into a dead end street at night. But as long as theres an exit, they aint stopping a 2005 Ford F350 Heavy duty with 5000 extra pounds added in the front.
