  • "Camaro Performers" magazine online?

I know Super Chevy places their articles online, but I can't find any articles from their Camaro Performers magazines online. Anyone know where to find them? I'm looking specifically for their "Fast Victor Six" articles.

      moving to lounge.

I usually just run to the store and read the new article on it when there is one.

I usually do that too, but the previous articles are no longer on the newsstands.

yea the guy doing the project is a member here, or was, I know he came on and asked a few questions then disappeared.

Think I don't like is that they are doing a lot of things that are not available off the shelves to the general public, like custom headers and tuning and all. They should have went with some pacesetter, rk sport, or CIA headers and then used hp tuners or DHP to tune it.

My car is in the March issue. :) Great mag. The V6 they were working on was getting basic bolt-ons that weren't adding up to much power though, last time I read about it. Was there anything major done to it yet?

I'm still a member of the forum.

"Camaro Performers" magazine does not have a web presence and I think the chances of it getting on in the near future might be pretty slim. That book is one of Primedia's smaller bimonthlies and they don't always end up with web sites like the company's bigger magazines such as "Super Chevy".

The Fast Victor Six series will conclude in the magazine in the January 07 issue with Part Six.

There is a chance a revised version of the whole series will get posted on a Camaro-related, non-forum site, however, that "deal" is still not finalized. If it happens, I'll post here with the URL of the site.

Lastly, it was mentioned earlier in this thread by someone planning to scan the series from the magazine and post it. I'd do that with caution because doing so will be a violation of copyright law. I'm not sure how aggressively Primedia defends its magazines' copyrights but, unless you are willing to risk potential litigation, you might thing twice about the scanning idea.

                          Hib,

Keep us posted if the whole series becomes available. I would love to read the articles, but have been unable to find the camaro performers mags recently. They are either gone when I get there or they don't put them out.

Why doesn't Primedia just put the articles on Super Chevy's website? Camaro Performers is basically a division of SC anyway, right?
