in GM High Tech there was an aritcle about they went through a tour of the NHRA racers shop and they said GIANT LS based casting of cylinder heads and block. The bore on the block was 4.300 and the stroke was 4.400. That means that beast is a 511 ci LS based motor!! The guy in the shop said that they are working on some LS8 stuff and they dont get parts unless GM is going to do something with them. :rock:

I'm not sure who needs an 820 CI engine, but these guys make them. Every one is custom-built, putting out at least 1600 HP.
