Yeah, if there's like an age difference like 14 to your 18 then you better back off. You have to be respectful of her parents and let them be parents.
When she turns 18 and independant then perhaps you two can get together. By then you'll only be 22.
But as long as she's living under their roof you have to respect that.

Its just that, its going to be super weird going there after all this happened. Seeing them blow up like that, and then show up and be coming for their daughter, they blew up because they "lost" their son.

If they weren't mad at you or if you didn't jump into the argument, it looks like it would be ok to go see her.
The 18-17 thing shouldn't be a problem unless you do something wrong ... you'd have less than a year wait and she'll be 18 anyways.
