Dude, is that the 16-233-4 from CC? That's the one I have! How does your computer like it? Mine wouldn't idle at stoplights without being in Neutral. (I have an A4)

Yes, that's the cam. It runs a touch rich in the open loop, but after that she idles fine (what you can hear on the video).
shodown: Hells yeah!
bibber: Yeah, I know I need rims. I want to the rear end swap, then suspension (with a 1" drop), and then rims. Performance first - then looks.
those are some interesting break-in ideas. I'd like to try that if I had a new engine.

~$6,500. That includes an entire valvetrain, P&P heads and matched intakes. Everything but the block and rods was replaced including every sensor. Everything was painted. And the firewall and inside fender wells detailed.
Labor included pulling the engine, the rebuild, putting the engine back in, and installing my pacesetters. It cost a little more because the crossover pipe with the pacesetters would clear the chassis. So he had to remold part of the chassis for clearance.
Rough breakdown:
1,400 P&P heads, intake, and valvetrain assembled. crapload of parts
2,500 bore, hot tank, pistons and engine build
2,000 labor - pulling the engine and dressing it
700 parts parts and more parts. (sensors, hoses, clamps, pumps, etc)
If you need more specific details, let me know. There is also other stuff listed on my cardomain site.
Wow that would cost 3x more than what I bought the Fiero for. :D But I will be shopping around for a 3.4 engine soon.
Yeah, I feel ya on that one. I have 2.73s from an auto Z28 that I left in the rearend when I did the swap. I get great gas milage though :) I'm taking my to a dyno as soon as I get them swapped out with some 3.73s.
